Collection: Mané

Mané is home. It is a memory of childhood, of Amma’s backyard garden in Manipal with tropical flowers that grew on trees, creepers and shrubs and had intoxicating smells that mixed with the smell of the lingering sea air. A memory of Amma easily stringing the Juhi and Aboli to put it in her hair or revelling in the bright bloom of the Joba while gathering the carpet of Parijata strewn every morning as holy offerings.

Mané celebrates flowers with simple unassuming beauty.

We relook at them with a magnifying lens and marvel at their perfection and details. We take the nostalgia and romance and blow them up in oversized proportions and rejoice in something that is so intrinsically tied to the collective memories of our childhood.
